SEOCrates operates using the ActiveTab permission model. This means the extension can only access the Document Object Model (DOM) of the current tab when you explicitly invoke it (by clicking the extension icon or sidebar). We do not have persistent access to all websites you visit.
All semantic analysis, vector embedding, and topic modeling are performed locally on your device using WebAssembly (WASM) and Transformers.js. No data is ever transmitted to a central server or third-party API for analysis.
No user data, browsing history, or website content is ever collected, stored, or transmitted. Your audit data lives locally in your browser's temporary memory for the duration of the analysis only.
Because no data is collected, no data is shared with third parties. SEOCrates is a standalone, privacy-first utility.
